About Bethsabé

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Bethsabé Pedersen received her Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from Louisiana State University. She began working as a Lighting Consultant in New York City in 1988, as part of the firm of David Mintz, Incorporated. She opened her own business - Bethsabé Pedersen Designs - after moving to St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1998. Since then Bethsabé has worked on numerous residential and commercial projects throughout Pinellas County incorporating her design talents as well as her lighting visions. Her current studio location opened in 2005.

Bethsabé is a member of the International Association of Lighting Designers.

Projects of Distinction:

Solely responsible for designing the lighting of the 265,000 square feet Famous Barr (now Macy's) in the St. Louis Galleria Mall.

Lighting design for several Lord & Taylor department stores.

Lighting design for the AT&T Customer Technology Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Lighting design for the Park Shore Penthouse apartment in downtown St. Petersburg.
